Diapason Gallery for Sound is a program of TonalMotion, Inc a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. TonalMotion was founded in 2003 by Liz Gerring and Michael Schumacher, whose artistic association goes back to the early 1980s. Besides Diapason, TonalMotion's other major program is the Liz Gerring Dance Company. Liz Gerring Dance and Diapason have a close association that is continually strengthened by collaborative projects.
