Mario de Vega, who embraces Dadaist abstractness, leftovers from the commentary of a soccer match and outlandish modifications of common sense --- Satoshi Takeishi, who exerts remarkable control and flexibility on this vigorous exchange of pointillist fractals, oscillations, whirrs, drones, whizzes and buzzes --- Hans Tammen, whose guitar has probably arrived in close proximity of the ultimate frontier which an axe can be pushed to in terms of erratic sonority --- they join forces to explore ethereal yet roughly sewn soundscapes and multi-cultural rhythms. At their most monastic and sonically attenuated, they carefully play almost nothing, but these passages inevitably progress into whispered dialogues of miniaturised, truncated instrumental gestures, with both rebounding sounds back and forth, building up to protean statements and frenetic interplay. Now read this again aloud without any mistake!

Robert Madler is a composer and performer who has focused on experimental media since 1998, specializing in electroacoustic composition for stereo diffusion and multi-channel audio, compositions utilizing multiple video projections, and programming in Max/MSP and Reaktor. Plasticity, the solo laptop project of Robert Madler, is rhythmic arrhythmia consisting of morphing and phasing beats, textures and harmonies, melding the influences of algorithmic composition, minimalism, sound-mass, electroacoustic music, hip-hop and IDM.
