Shimmering
is a persistent life form. Unhindered by physical space and human bodies,
it moves from one form to another, riding waves of sound through surfaces,
across sympathetic energies and deep into cells. It resists the temptation
to be quarantined. It is both a reflection and a source.
A continuous sound installation intercepted by live performance at 8:30
PM. With an ensemble that includes Stephanie Griffin, viola, Jean Cook,
violin, Sean Meehan, snare drum, and Kenta Nagai microphone feedback &
digital effects.
